Starting today, I've got to manage myself better than yesterday. God's grace is real. It's the greatest comfort that we have.
But grace is not only the providence of Jesus when we fail. Grace is also Jesus' providence when we aim for something beyond our capabilities. Grace is not only the underserved favor we receive from Jesus when we live a horrible life. Grace is also His providence that aids us to live the impossible life.
Today, I will do what I will, because I want it. I will enjoy life with Jesus. Not because I am defined by my works by people. Jesus loves me even without doing anything. I have nothing to prove. And he won't love me more by doing more 'works'.
I am not saying I should not do anything. What I am saying is, Jesus loves me as who I am. And this love is the one compelling me to work with Him. Greater experience can be gained, greater love can be known, and greater grace can be discovered as I walk with Him alone.
I've got nothing to do to please Him. But I want to follow the footsteps of Jesus. And Jesus didn't stay at home doing facebook and watching movies all day. Your time is important, use it wisely.
